Long Grain White Rice IRRI-6 and IRRI-9 are Non Basmati rice mostly grow in Sindh Pakistan. These rice are very famous mostly in continent of Africa. It also have profitable market in Bangladesh. Major district for the production of IRRI are Larkana, Sukkar and Nawabshah. Both types of rice IRRI are very ancient and produced by the early farmers. It also have a good international market due to its attractive prices. Non Basmati rice give a little touch to Basmati rice during cooking process. It is available in the form of paraboiled, steamed and white as well as in long, short and medium grains.
